Zaarour Cluster
Set within the mountain landscape of Zaarour, Lebanon, Zaarour Cluster brings together compact volumes arranged along the hillside. The stepped composition follows the slope, opening each unit towards the surrounding scenery while maintaining a sense of privacy.
Terraces, stairs and elevated walkways connect the individual volumes to a sequence of shared outdoor spaces. Timber decks, planted pockets and a pool establish places to gather between the buildings, with rocks and vegetation shaping the experience of moving through the site.
The architecture combines a restrained material palette with generous glazed openings and warm interiors. Its identity emerges from the relationship between small-scale accommodation, communal life and the mountain terrain.
