On 31 July 2019, the Amicale des Anciens Élèves de Champville inaugurated its Club House, designed by WELD Architecture. The opening introduced a shared place for former students to reconnect and gather, extending the life of the alumni community through a dedicated interior.
Two projects, one evening
The Amicale’s 2018–2021 committee invited alumni to the college for an evening celebrating two initiatives. The programme began with the launch of the Amicale’s website at 19:00 in the secondary school amphitheatre, followed by the inauguration of the Club House at 19:45.
The invitation announced a celebration over a drink, with entertainment by former students, and thanked the donors whose contributions helped bring both projects to life.

A place to reconnect
WELD Architecture’s design brings together informal lounge seating and a bar. Exposed concrete, black metal frames and timber shelving give the interior its character, while blue armchairs, grey sofas and a colourful mural create a welcoming setting for conversation.
